POSITION: Research Officer, Knowledge Management and Learning

Tumininu Daniel is a research and development specialist with over three years’ experience in research and training.  

At Yiaga Africa, she provides support for the coordination and execution of activities in the department with relevant information on research, monitoring and evaluation. She also supports research consultants on all project research work.

She has trained over 300 election-day observers for Presidential, Governorship, and Senatorial elections in Nigeria, contributing immensely to promoting credible elections and boosting citizens’ confidence in the electoral process. 

She coordinates the Knowledge Management Series – a weekly discussion on topical issues in the nation and across the globe with the Yiaga Africa team members, as well as develops training plans for the team.

She is a passionate advocate of promoting women’s rights and inclusion in political participation and writes regularly on these causes.

Tumininu was born in Ogun State. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics and African Languages from the University of Abuja and is a Master’s degree student in Development Studies at the Nigerian Defence Academy, Kaduna.
