Biography

POSITION: Programme Officer CLE

Tolulope Famoroti is a lawyer with growing interest and experience in corporate law, intellectual property, legal research, legal advisory, concept development, and policy and data analysis for organizations interfacing with the Nigerian public. 

She is currently a Programme Officer, Centre for Legislative Engagement Yiaga Africa after she had worked as a Monitoring and Evaluation Assistant under the Knowledge Management and Learning Department and also provides support to the Centre for Legislative Engagement Programs. 

Tolulope is passionate about delivering projects on time and within budget with capacity in investigation, litigation and policy analysis.  She was part of the team that organized and implemented the Ready to Run campaign which is a movement dedicated to supporting young men and women running for elective offices.

Prior to joining Yiaga Africa, Tolulope worked in the Legal Service Directorate of the National Assembly as part of the mandatory one-year National Youth Service Corps scheme, where she assisted with legislative research, proofreading and reviewing legislative bills, analysing bill proposals, and report writing during legislative committee meetings. She also provided administrative assistance to the Directorate. 

She is a graduate of Obafemi Awolowo University, where she completed her LL.B degree and the Nigerian Law School where she earned her B.L. before being called to the Nigerian Bar.

Tolulope was born in Lagos State.
