POSITION: Human Resource and Administrative Officer

Ogbonna Ugorji is a Human Resource practitioner with over seven years’ experience in Human Resource Management which cuts across different areas of specialization and interest in the Human Resource field including but not limited to Policy creation and Education, Talent Acquisition and Management, Compensation and Benefits, Performance Management, Training and Development, Employee Relations, amongst others.

Currently, he supports the Human Resource and Administrative department at Yiaga Africa towards providing an energetic workforce who are continually inspired to bring about positive changes in Nigeria and beyond within the vision and mission of Yiaga Africa.

Ogbonna hails from Abia State, and he received his early education in Owerri, Imo State. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Administrative Studies from the University of Port-Harcourt (2012) and a Master’s degree in Development Studies from the Nigeria Defence Academy, Kaduna (2021). He’s also an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management.

Ogbonna is an advocate of a workspace that respects employee rights, gender inclusion and diversity, as well as promote work-life balance.
