Michael Agada is a development practitioner with over 7 years in the financial and non-profit sectors. He has experience in management consultation, client relationship, strategic implementation, and company collaboration.
At Yiaga Africa, Michael strives to ensure the viability of active citizens’ involvement in their societal and governmental affairs. He has contributed to the surge in citizens' demand for accountability from public officials, especially at the local levels. He has also contributed to engagements on electoral reforms that seek to reverse the trend of electoral manipulation and violence by enthroning a process that guarantees free, fair and credible elections in Nigeria.
Born in Jos, Plateau State, and raised in Makurdi, Benue State, Michael has a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from the Nasarawa State University, Keffi and a Master’s degree in Conflict, Security and Development from the Nigerian Defence Academy, Kaduna State.
He writes and speaks regularly on issues around accountability, conflict management, purposeful leadership, electoral reforms, and active citizen’s participation.
