Call for Applications: Political Organizing Training for Female Student Union Leaders

Are you a young female leader in your student union? Do you aspire to make a meaningful impact in politics and society? Yiaga Africa is offering an exciting opportunity for young female student union leaders to participate in a Political Organizing Training that will take place in Northern and Southern Nigeria.

Yiaga Africa, with the support of the Canada High Commission, is seeking passionate and driven young female Student Union leaders from tertiary institutions across Nigeria to apply for our Political Organizing Training. This opportunity will provide selected participants with a comprehensive training designed to equip them with essential skills and knowledge for political organizing. The training will focus on key areas such as leadership development, communication skills, political advocacy, and networking. The training will be held in both Northern and Southern Nigeria.

Eligibility:

  1. Must be a Female Student Union Leader in a Nigerian tertiary institution
  2. Must be passionate about transformational leadership.
  3. Must be between the ages of 18 and 30
  4. Availability to participate in-person and travel.
